Haiti Nursing Foundation

Dear Chapter Members,

This year, the chapter donated the equivalent of one year of nursing school through the Haiti Nursing Foundation.  If you are interested in donating directly to the fund, please email us at admin@phipi.org.

Meet Maxdalina Creme.

She is a nursing student we are sponsoring in Haiti.  From physicals on children to helping with a school for the poor,  Creme is such a blessing.  And because of your generosity, she is going to touch so many more lives in need of medical care.  You can learn more about her school / program at:
Bless you!

As Ceme and the other sophomore nursing students move into the junior year, the need for supplies increases greatly. Like Ceme, most of the sophomores do not have enough money to buy things like stethoscopes and BP cuffs so they need your help.

Here is a link to a giving page where you could purchase material for us to take them in October of 2018.

Phi Pi donated one year of nursing school ...through the Haiti Nursing Foundation.
Nurse Tim says,

Thank you letter from Haiti

Maxdalina CEMÉ, our nursing student Phi Pi sponsors through Nurse Tim, sent us this letter of thanks...

Dear PhiPi,

I would like to send you this letter in order to congratulate you for this fine work you are doing to help Haiti. And I also take this opportunity to thank you for your help during the academic year 2017-2018 which was a success. I am becoming a good and wise woman because of this.

Indeed, I am in 3rd year, I begin to acquire new knowledge, and also to take part in courses in Petit Goâve Hospital.  I promise you Phi Pi chapter that I will do my best to succeed this academic year.

I want to become a competent nurse and care for patients holistically. But please know that my endocrine class is very difficult. I am happy that the FSIL nursing school teaching is very good so they help me. They make us work very hard.  Counting on your help for another year, I beg you, to accept the expression of my deep respect. God bless you, your organization and your family.
